Anne Luxton has been a textile artist for over 15 years. She uses fabric that she has
painted, dyed, bleached, torn or manipulated in combination with found objects both old and
new including lace, beads, thread, wire, paper, felt, twigs, seeds, plastic and anything else!
Using nature as her subject, her recent work has evolved into painting fabric or paper and
adding stitching. She has participated in many juried shows over the years and has won
several awards. Anne’s work hangs in private and public collections and is available during
the Grand Bend Studio Tour, the Elora-Fergus Studio Tour and at the Carnegie Art Gallery in
Dundas, ON.
