Anne Luxton has been a textile artist for many years. The first show she was in was at the Oakville Art Gallery, in about 1986 or 1987.
Anne finds that nature is the subject she enjoyed working with the best. Painting on fabric then stitching into it, has been her work for about ten years, in any size from 2×3 inches to 30×40 inches.
Anne’s work hangs in Private and Public Galleries. she has been in the Grand Bend Studio tour for 10 years, her work can be seen in Ballie’s Picture Framing all year round and her home studio in Elora. Her cards are at RoxanneReflections book store in Fergus, the wool shop in Elora and Baillie’s in Grand Bend. Anne is currently taking a refresher course in water colour painting in Fergus.
Anne will be exhibiting her artwork at Baillie’s Picture Framing in Grand Bend during the studio tour.
