Glass in Motion is owned and operated by Sharon and Garry White whose interest in glass art started when they visited a glass studio on Granville Island Vancouver, BC in 2005.
They were inspired by the beautiful colours and works of art achieved by the artisans. It did not take long for their journey into art glass to begin. After taking a beginning bead making class in Victoria, Sharon and Garry were hooked and set up a small workspace in their home. When they were not making beads, they were thinking about or talking about making beads. After much patience and practice, Glass in Motion was conceived.
Glass is the White’s passion. They never tire of its beauty and unpredictable nature. After years of making beads, they are still fascinated by this art when they see their creations coming out of the kiln.
Sharon and Garry draw inspiration from the nature that surrounds us. Their studios are located on the shores of Lake Huron in Sauble Beach and Grand Bend, Ontario.
In addition to glass beads, the White’s offer fused and flame-worked glass in a variety or art, household items and jewellery.
