About me

Parkhill Carnegie Gallery is a local heritage building at 233 Parkhill Main St. Built in 1914, it served for many years as the Public Library and is now a centre for Arts & Culture. The upper level of this renovated building is the Art Gallery, currently featuring work from local artisans. These works are all for sale and include painting, photography, weaving, fibre art, glasswork and woodwork.

 

Enjoy demonstrations by local artist throughout the Studio Tour weekend.

Sat 10-1    JanisLynn Card Shop – demonstrating card making extraordinaire
Sat 1-4      Esther Conway – demonstrating the art of quilting with blue jeans (denim)
Sat 1-4     Beth Turnbull Morrish (potter) – demonstrating her pottery techniques, outside if weather permits
Sun 10-1  Colleen Pavlech (weaver and spinner) – demonstrating spinning techniques and showing her beautiful weaving pieces
Sun 1-4    Ruth Cook(multi-media artist) – demonstrating water colour painting techniques
There may be other artists and artisans throughout the weekend.
